General Overview

This project was planned to provide an innovative response to the difficulties faced by new teachers, particularly vocational staff, in accessing higher education initial teacher training.

Experience showed that several teachers did not have sufficient personal skills, particularly in literacy but also in numeracy and ICT, to enable them to participate fully on the mandatory teacher training programmes at higher education level.  The following materials in Literacy, ICT and Numeracy were developed in order to assist such teachers with their training.
